Papa Mac Adventures was a originated from the simple idea of Papa Mac wanting to create some fun and happy family memories with his grand children. After getting a rather serious health diagnosis/prognosis, Papa Mac was motivated to make the most of the time that he would have with them. Grand kids are simply the best, and what an adventure it is when you invest your time into them.
The intent of this website is to encourage other grand parents, parents, aunts and/or uncles to invest their time/creativity and resources into their family. We believe it to be well worth worth the investment. Hopefully this site can help with ideas as you and your family create amazing adventure memories of your own.
It is worth mentioning that Papa Mac’s Adventures from the very start also included some of his grand kids similar aged cousins. As many kids that grew up with their cousins know – cousins simply make everything more fun when done together. So as you may see/hear Papa Mac referred to as Uncle Michael, or Michael Michael as those are the affectionate names Papa Mac is known by from these nephews and nieces.
